Hi, I'm Tara — the person behind TLN Practical Solutions and The Practical Table.

In 2022, I made the move from Port Macquarie to Sydney, and like many people who relocate for opportunity, I quickly learned what it feels like to build a professional life while craving genuine community. That experience shaped everything I do now.

​

I bring 13 years of office administration experience to this work, plus hands-on expertise in event coordinating, retail, and customer service. But more importantly, I bring a genuine love for what I do: planning events that people actually remember, creating systems that make offices run smoothly, and connecting people who need to know each other.

Why I started TLN Practical Solutions: I kept seeing the same pattern—talented, capable professionals drowning in administrative tasks, stressing over event logistics, and feeling isolated in their professional journeys. I thought: what if there was someone who could handle the practical stuff AND create genuine community? That's how TLN Practical Solutions and The Practical Table were born.

What I love about this work: There's something deeply satisfying about taking a chaotic inbox or workspace and turning it into a manageable system. About planning an event down to the last detail so my client can actually enjoy it. About watching women who arrived at brunch alone leave with new friends. I get to use my organisational skills and my love of networking to make other people's lives genuinely better—and that never gets old.

When I'm not working: You'll find me on the touch football field (yes, I'm competitive!), watching the NRL, cricket, or soccer, or exploring Sydney's amazing event spots—you know, for "research". 😊
